Junior Training Programs - 2026 Term 1
General information about the program can be found at High School Training or Primary School Training.
- 10-week term. See the schedule below for dates, days, times and venues.
- Fees per term (once a week):
- Spikezone (SZ) and StepUp: $220
- High School Training (HST) - Emberclaws: $210
- High School Training (HST) - Flamewings and Blazeborne: $200
Refunds are not offered for sessions missed.
All newcomers AND returning players MUST register before attending. Only attend the session you have registered for.
Are you new to Dragons Volleyball?
Register to trial for any of our Junior Training Programs to try it out before committing. If you are new to High School Trainingm, you may either trial or register into Emberclaws straight away!
The term fee includes the trial session. If you decide not to continue the term after trialling, there is no fee incurred for the trial session attended.
Which Junior Training Program do I choose?
Changes in 2026
We are introducing new skill group names to our HST program! Please use the table below to know which skill group to register for as we transition.

Returning players
- Register for the same skill group they were previosly in.
- Coaches will assess and players will be informed if they have been moved to a higher level.
New to HST
- If your child is new to volleyball, please register for Emberclaws
- If your child is older or has more experience, OR you are unsure which skill group, register to trial - The coaches will assess triallers to determine the most appropriate skill group.
We may change your group at our discretion. If there is no space in the most appropriate skill level, the child will be moved to the waiting list. We will notify you of any movements via email.
What if session I wish to register for is full?
- Register on the WAIT LIST (link can be found in registration form) and email to inquire. We will email you if a spot becomes available.
- Please do NOT register for a higher group if your session is full. This will be seen as skipping the queue and your registration will be moved to the back of the wait list.
Can I change my training day or venue?
- Yes - email us through the welcome email you will receive. If the desired training session is full, we will not be able to change your training session.
Notices
- To register for FRIDAY StepUp and HST at The Gap, PLEASE SELECT THURSDAY
- There is no StepUp and HST training on Thursday, but due to technical difficulties, the Friday option has been removed from our registration list.
