Flaming Chalice - Team Nominations Open

Dragons members will be directed to another page once we are ready to start taking registrations for Dragons teams in Chalice. Dragons do not need to register on this page.

Dragons welcome teams in the divisions below. They may come from clubs, schools, or elsewhere.

Open-Aged Men and Women:
Open Aged Men (in order): Premier, Challenger, Div 1, Div 2 & Div 3
Open Aged Women (in order): Premier, Challenger, Div 1 & Div 2
Mixed teams may compete in all men's divisions except Premier.

School-aged Boys and Girls:
Under 19 - born 2008 and younger
Under 17 - born 2010 and younger
Under 15 - born 2012 and younger

Dragons are willing to consider age exemptions for school teams which are predominantly of the right age. Please get in touch well in advance to ensure no problems at the tournament.

Open Men - 2.43m
Open Women - 2.24m
Male Under 19 - 2.35m
Male Under 17 - 2.35m
Male Under 15 - 2.15m
Women Under 19 - 2.15m
Women Under 17 - 2.15m
Women Under 15 - 2.10m

Refunds will be provided for withdrawals under the following conditions:

Before 4pm on Friday 17 April	Full Refund
Before 4pm on Tuesday 21 April	50% Refund
After 4pm on Tuesday 21 April	No Refund

We would like your team to make an effort to be available for the whole weekend, but if that is not possible please indicate on your nomination form (under Draw considerations) if there are times your team cannot play (eg. Friday night, Monday afternoon). Brisbane teams are generally expected to play as scheduled.

While school-aged teams will play throughout the weekend, we will attempt to leave a block of time available for rest, study etc.

Dragons will do everything reasonably possible in relation to draw consideration requests but cannot make any guarantees.

Please consider whether your draw request is essential or just desirable. If it is essential and we can't meet your request during the draw construction, we will withdraw your team, notify you and provide you with a refund. If it is desirable and we can't meet your request, we will expect you to meet your commitments.

Adjustments to the draw to fulfil your requests often come with a consequence by necessity. For example if you ask to finish early on one day, you might have some double games, or a really long day to make it work.

By nominating you acknowledge that there will be promotional photographs taken at the tournament for use on our website and social media, and that all relevant approvals for any participants under 18 have been provided to your club/association/school.
