QLD Junior State Championships
About QLD Junior State Championships
Each year, Volleyball Queensland’s State Championships plays host to volleyball associations and clubs from across Queensland. As teams compete for the most prestigious trophies in the state – the VQ State Championships and the VQ President’s Shield, awarded to the best performing association or club across all divisions – the State Championships is an action packed tournament.
Dragons usually sends a strong contingent of teams along, mostly PVL teams, with a handful from other parts of the club and non-members as well.
This tournament is generally best suited to competitive to elite players. Age group for 2026:
- Under 19: A and B Divisions: Born 2008 or younger
- Under 17: A and B Divisions: Born 2010 or younger
- Under 15: A and B Divisions: Born 2012 or younger

QLD Junior State Champs 2026 Information and Registration
Dates: Saturday-Sunday, 27th - Sun 28th June 2026
(2 full-day event)
Venue: Gold Coast, including Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre at Carrara.

Fees (Member-rate): $95
Fees (Non-Member rate): $140
(Non-members accepted by invitation or trials only)
No reduced fees if you are only available for one day.
Fees are non-refundable if withdraw after 12 June 2026.
Eligibility:
Dragons 2026 PVL members: An email with registration link will be sent to you via email.
Dragons 2026 High School Training members: By invitation only to Flamewings and Blazeborne levels. Email us to enquire to be considered.
Non-Dragons members: Email us to enquire to be considered.
