Hi everyone,

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for their support to date in implementing our interim measures in relation to COVID-19.

We have continued to monitor the government advice in this area, and the guidance provided by Volleyball Australia and other sporting bodies.  We have also been in contact with the schools and organisations that we work with to deliver our programs, some of whom have advised that their sports facilities are unavailable for hire at this time.  We also understand that Volleyball Queensland has postponed a number of its competitions, including PVL, to later in the year.

As a consequence, we have made the decision to suspend all of our programs and activities with immediate effect.  We have also decided to postpone Chalice to a later time in the year, to be announced.

This is not a decision we have made lightly, but do so in the interests of complying with government restrictions, and with the health and wellbeing of our members and their families in mind.

We hope to be in a position to recommence our programs and activities in the near future, and will provide updates on this when we can.  In the meantime, please stay safe, healthy, and fit, and ready to play when we recommence.
