Metro BVC League

Note: As Metro League is currently not running, we are playing in BVC League for now.

What is Metro League?

Metro League is a competitive level volleyball league run by Volleyball Queensland.

This league is intended for those looking for a competition that balances competition with the enjoyment of playing volleyball with a great bunch of people.

The game format for Metro League includes best of 5 sets within a 60 minute time slot, with a 10 minute warm up before hand.

Who can play in Metro League?

Dragons enters teams in this competition largely consisting of open-aged players from General Training and the lower open-aged divisions of PVL. We also welcome juniors in our open-aged teams if they have sufficient skill to play with older players - as a rule of thumb, Junior Program participants of 'intermediate' level or higher may be considered.

We like to place everyone interested into a team if we can! If you are interested in joining a team for the first time or have any questions, please contact our teams coordinator, Hayden Howlett.
