Flaming Chalice

Hi all,

In light of the recent announcements made by the Australian Government and in line with advice from Volleyball Australia, we have made the decision to postpone Flaming Chalice in May for 2020.

We thank you all for your continued support each year and look forward to giving you an update on the new dates once we have more information.

In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy, and keep an eye out here for our next update!

Regards,

Steph

Flaming Chalice 2020

What is Flaming Chalice?

Dragons Volleyball Association runs its Flaming Chalice Tournament each year on the Labour Day long weekend (first weekend in May).

This event has been running every year since 1991. Flaming Chalice is the largest association-run tournament in Queensland attracting teams from as far afield as Townsville, Dalby and Sydney, as well as Queensland Representative Teams and occasionally international teams.

Usually more than 90 teams participate across the 12 divisions!
