Jon said he wouldn't organise another tour but he relents and guess where we're going.

Format Changes

Jon is driving to Canberra and Boris is meeting us there and helping to drive back. We've managed to get two womens teams and two mens teams so this will be our biggest tour yet. Not only that we've also conned lots of the original tourists to join us. That means we won't fit in one minibus; Vicki Hickling has agreed to bring her Tarago though.

Tuesday

Excellent, Thrifty gave us a brand new mini-bus. We should change companies every year. No big surprise, we're going to Coff's Harbour again.

Wednesday

A short trip to Taree. We play some football and frisbee in the park. Josh is the first casualty when the football lands on a bottle which explodes leaving a hefty gash in his foot. Eight stitches later and he's out of volleyball until we reach Canberra. We have a barbecue that night.

Thursday

We're off to Sydney and our night off. We head for Chatswood and the movies. Dragonheart is a favourite. We link up with one of our past members, Liz Steele.

Friday

Off to Canberra and we're back in the Canberra Motor Village. Games at AIS that night.

Saturday-Sunday

Good neighbour doesn't go as well this year. Sunday night we head to Bruce's place for a backyard Barbecue. We end up playing round-robin charades and celebrity head.
Capital Hill beckons us and we respond. The race to the top is too much for some (perhaps they shouldn't have indulged so heavily at the barbecue). An hour of driving the white porcelain bus and we can get back in the real bus.

Monday

Drive to Cessnock. Some head for the Vineyards and Cheese shop. Cessnock RSL for dinner and it's Josh's birthday bash.

Tuesday

Back to Brisbane and it's all over for another year. Once again Jon says he's done enough organising of tours and this time I believe he means it. Who knows what exciting changes will happen when we have a new tour director.
