State Championships 2001

We went to Rocky, we played lots of five set volleyball and we had fun in 2001.

With the State Championships being held over Easter we had great difficulty fielding teams. With numbers of people attending ever changing it is a real credit to Dragons organisers of this event that Dragons managed to field five teams across the six divisions on offer (let alone transport them all up there).

To Mr Dave Kelly,

Dear Dave,

I would like to commend your volleyball players who stayed at our Motor Inn over Easter. They conducted themselves very well and to Vicki Hickling who was an outstanding ambassador for your club.  She managed the junior players excellently and every one of them and thier parents  should be very grateful to have somebody like Vicki to look after them away from home.  Vicki made our job so much easier.  We enjoyed having them and would gratefully have them again.  Thank you for patronizing this motel.
