Presidents Report

Well the June/July period of our club saw some great achievements and some awkward changes. Dragons are state champions in both divisions of Men's volleyball and runners up in both divisions of Women's volleyball. No other association fielded teams in all divisions at the state titles and no other association performed as well as Dragons. Congratulations must be extended to our players for performing so well, the coaches for providing the tactics required to succeed, the Tournament Director for putting up with the late withdrawals and con

cerns of players, to the QVA for holding the event, to the other associations for attending and helping to raise the standard of the competition, and to the supporters who barracked for us. We finished the millennium with the best state championship results for the entire century ... now for the next millennium.
