Presidents Report

Finally after 12 years I have taken time off from volleyball (not playing Metro this season) and have just discovered that I have four kids!  Thank you to all those (especially Patricia) who are now slaving away to keep things running. With that in mind can you all do whatever you can to help Patricia and Gary with organising this Metro and Premier Leagues.
The new committee is now in place and things look very promising this year with all of our port folios of operation filled by someone with the exception of "Fund Raising" and "News Letter Editor" (rather funny really isn't it).  If you are interested in either of these positions please contact myself as soon as possible, we are hoping that we can do some fund raising during the year and certainly want to start developing revenue from advertising in this newsletter.  So don't sit back, jump forward and give it a go.
As March turns to a close we see the end of Premier League

free trials and the numbers attending this year are very strong.  Maybe next year we will look at fielding two reserve grade teams into Premier League.  At the time of this article the first cut has been performed and pre-season training has commenced.  The Premier program this year is doing quite well and is attracting many new and promising junior players into our club.
