Training

Training types

Dragons has four levels of training:

  • Spikezone - for kids aged 8-13 (see our SpikeZone page);
  • Junior development - for kids aged 12-16 (see our Juniors page);
  • PVL training - for serious players playing PVL (see our PVL page); and
  • Metro/general training.

Metro/general training is a mixed training for Metro competitors and anyone who wants to improve or practice their volleyball skills.

Training sessions vary but generally involve a mixture of specific skills training, skrimmage and various games.

Players aged about 13 to 60 enjoy these trainings.

You do not have to be playing in a team to join in at our Metro/general training.

While most attendees sign up for a year, we also accept casual trainers when we can fit them in.
