Premier Volleyball League (PVL)
What is PVL?
Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the highest level club-representative volleyball competition in South-East Queensland, organised by Volleyball Queensland. The PVL season runs from April to September for open-age and junior divisions, with trials in February.
Why Play PVL with Dragons?
Dragons have a strong record of success, winning the PVL Club Championship 12 times between 2001 and 2022. Our coaches aim to develop athletes to achieve their potential through high quality training sessions, which in some cases results in athletes representing their state and country. Besides being competitive, we believe in fostering a friendly, fun and welcoming culture.
How do I join a team?
Firstly, you can register on our PVL expression of interest form, so that you will be notified of trials etc. Dragons active in the last year do not need to do this.
Secondly, when invited you can sign up to attend trial sessions to be considered for a team. Information about trials will be typically be posted here a few weeks before trials. If you are unable to attend trial sessions, contact our Senior and Junior/Youth PVL Coordinators HERE and they will work out alternative plans for you.
