Dragons club members participate in a number of regular competitions around
Brisbane.
- Premier Volleyball League (PVL) - Div 1

The PVL is run by the Queensland Volleyball Association. The
league supports Open, Reserve and Junior grades in both men
and women. State representative players are selected from the
PVL competition.
The competition runs for 30 weeks from May to November.
Matches are played on Friday Nights at The Brisbane Entertainment
Centre's Sports Complex located at Boondall.

- Brisbane Metro League - Div 2

The Metro league is the QVA's division
two competition in Brisbane. Dragons fields teams in both
the mens and womens grades.
We commonly field 2-4 mens teams and 2-3 womens teams. Metro
League is played at Runcorn State High School on Brisbane's
South Side. There is also a Northern competition starting
at Clayfield College.
The Metro competition runs all year round.
- Mixed/Social Competition - Div 3

Dragons do not officially participate in this level at the moment, though
many members have tried to get something started. QVA's

- MINI Volleyball - Juniors

MINI Volleyball is a 4 a side competition for 9-13 year olds that
has just been initiated by the AVF. Dragons is running training
sessions in term one in preparation for the competition
which starts in term two.
Beach Volleyball
Although Dragons don't officially compete in beach volleyball,
many of our members regularly play beach in and around Brisbane.
