| Dragons club members participate in a number of regular competitions around Brisbane. |
- Premier Volleyball League (PVL) - Div 1

The PVL competition is run by Volleyball Queensland. The league supports A and Reserve grades for both men and women. Dragons normally fields teams in all grades of the PVL.
The competition runs for about 6 months from March to September. Most matches are played on Friday Nights at The Brisbane Entertainment Centre's Sports Complex located at Boondall.

- Brisbane Metro League - Div 2

The Metro league is VQ's division two competition in Brisbane. Dragons field teams in both the men's and women's grades. We commonly field 2-3 men's teams and 1-2 women's teams. Metro League is played at Runcorn State High School on Brisbane's South Side.
The Metro competition runs all year round, although it is split up into three seasons.

Dragons do not officially participate in this level at the moment, though many members have tried to get something started. VQ's page for Spiker Sports is here.

- MINI Volleyball - Juniors
We have catered for 9-13 year olds with a special program in the past, however recently have not been able to find a suitably willing coach. We do keep a waiting list though.

- Beach Volleyball
Although Dragons don't officially compete in beach volleyball, many of our members regularly play beach in and around Brisbane.
